Most helpful customer reviews 13 of 13 people found the following review helpful.Quite right!By Mik Willy, I just lived through an efficient, time to be blown up by a colleague that I always trouble to handle.During inflation, I was repeatedly verbally attacked and accused.I lost my temper.Is completely destroyed, I sought answers and advice from my stack waiting to professional development books.Maravel book was near the top of my pile, so I picked it up.I had bought last summer - never opened it up.From the beginning, she was right at that level of hostility I've seen, her description of how we react, and everything she writes about.I took my marker, I've never done, except for courses.My book is filled with yellow highlights.I felt so strongly about what I had learned that I referred to our HR rep (who was included because of the severity of the Blow-Up).I also had the courage to ask my boss to read something I've never done before.I felt however, that most people in the organization who have read the book, the stronger and more effective we can make our organization.This book is undoubtedly help heal some wounds caused by caustic relationship I have with this co-working.I think everything will be fine from now on?No, my colleague did not read the book and be offended if I were to suggest.That said, I now have a better understanding of why each of us as we have said, and now I have some tools that try to use during future interactions.It's an easy read, I have to re-read now that I'm in a better mood.Anyone who works in an organization, especially those who are administrators or the need to work with other people should read this book and apply what they read.Do not wait for the big race of shame, which makes blow-up to take first place.August 8 people thought this review was a great resource and very useful for Randall Van Nostrand bought this book after reading an excerpt in the magazine "O".What initially interested me was the authors' way of making changes.The book is even better than I expected.Anna method is simple, personal and very practical.And because it illustrates his proposal with stories about their own experiences of the book is easy to read.I also thought I could start to try your suggestions immediately, even before you finish the book.After just two of their recommendations led me through a series of very delicate and difficult meetings, but to give in my usual knee jerk reactions.So far I have sent copies to three friends and I can not recommend this book enough.July 7 found this review helpful.How to reduce industrial conflict and stress Michael Sosniak This is an excellent book for managers of any experience level.It helps to teach the techniques on how to avoid conflict at work and really get your staff working for you, not against you is a bit "hard to follow at first with all the statistics, but when it comes to applying practice is very insightful.It also has stories about real work situations, where Anne has been a consultant and has helped various companies to work better together.See all 36 customer reviews ....
