This editor believes that this drought can be broken but it will take some drastic action.I believe three elected republicans,one each from the county commissioners court,Lubbock City Council and UMC board should VOLUNTEER to be crucified on crosses at the county gazebo.These three brave souls could achieve martyrdom,like the disciples in Roman Empire, and bring much needed rain.The time for prayer has pa*sed and the time for human sacrifice is now.
